#F3 'Shells and Rosebuds' 16-22 inch doll/0-3m baby

A pretty set knitted with a shell patterned edging. The top can be knitted as a matinee coat or angel top with matching trousers, bonnet and shoes. For the more experienced knitter. Knitted in 4-ply or DK depending on size required.

Materials

19-22 inch Doll or newborn baby (approx 14 inch chest)

Approx 200g of DK yarn (US: light worsted) and a small amount of DK in contrasting colour for socks or shoes

Needles: One pair of 3.25 mm(UK10)(US 3) and one pair of 4mm(UK8)(US 6)

16-18 inch Doll or 0-3m baby (approx 16 inch chest)

Approx 100g of 4-ply yarn (US: 4-ply) and a small amount of 4-ply in contrasting colour for socks or shoes

Needles: One pair of 3.25 mm(UK10) (US 3) and one pair of 2.75 mm(UK12)(US2)

Both sizes

2 small buttons for shoes

3 medium buttons for top

Shirring elastic

As many or as few rosebuds as you like

Approx 2m of 7mm ribbon for trousers, top yoke and bonnet

Approx 0.5 mm 1 inch wide ribbon for bonnet

A very pretty romper that can be knitted with long or short sleeves and/or legs. A pretty heart panel down the front looks lovely with flowers sewn on. Also a frilly edged cap and bootees in this set. Knitted in 4-ply or DK depending on size required.
