Designed especially to fit a standard car seat with two openings for the strap release to fit through. Much better than putting a standard blanket over as these will stay put on the windiest of days or with a baby who delights in kicking off their covers!

250g chunky yarn (US: Bulky)

6mm needles (US 10)


Furry Cover

200g Funky Fur/Ostrich Double knitting yarn, 100g of each colour

50g Standard Double knitting yarn (US: light worsted)

4mm needles (UK 8, US 6)

Two blankets/covers especially designed to fit a standard 0-9m car seat. Each blanket has 2 openings to fit the safety straps through. No more blankets falling off or getting blown away! One is in DK with a wavy stripe multi-coloured pattern; the other is knitted in chunky (bulky) yarn in double moss stitch diamond pattern. A great gift for a new baby and fast to knit!

100g Double knitting yarn in main colour, 20g/ball ends of 5 other colours (A, B, C, D & E)

4mm needles (UK 8, US 6)

A pattern for two car seat blankets, one in a moss-stitch basket weave pattern in chunky, the other in super chunky in a basic basket stitch. The super chunky one has only 50 stitches and 74 rows! They both have openings for the car seat harness to slot neatly through, thus securing the blanket in place. Both very simple and quick to make and great for cold winter days. They fit a standard car seat for 0-9m.
